Hey, I'm Ashley!
The weekend trip: The pursuit of getting everything I can out of life and being able to see the best sites, meet the most interesting people, and have the most remarkable experiences inspires me everyday. I'm a collector of memories and feel an obligation to share my stories in hopes that I can hear some of yours.
The long haul: Kick your shoes off and have a seat. You want a beer? Let me grab you one.
I guess here is were I tell you I grew up in Ohio, right outside Cleveland. Growing up weekends in the summer looked like camping at the lake, watermelon slices with a side of hotdogs, chasing lightning bugs and stories around the fire. My parents instilled the importance of getting outside and enjoying nature to my brother and I at a young age through camping. My passion for the outdoors and travel is fully derived from the community I've felt during these trips.
When it came time for college, I had difficulty deciding what I wanted to do with my life and how I could incorporate my passion into my work. Being an adult and living on my own for the first time, I started traveling without my parents. With each trip I fell more and more in love with the idea of travel and what I soon learned was the hospitality industry. I switched my major sophomore year to focus on hospitality, in hopes to get into the travel and tourism.

In 2016 I completed an internship at a campground in South Dakota and was introduced to the world of seasonal work. I have always thought the concept of travel was interesting, but working in the industry made me feel whole.
From that moment on I knew I needed to do work that would inspire people to find places that take their breath away and leave them with lasting memories. I fully believe that there is so much that needs to be explored in this world and I love expressing my passions for the great places that I find with others.

Follow along as I travel here and there, grow with my experiences and learn from my mistakes. Most importantly, get out there and start exploring!
